Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: July 28, 2026
At Playfield Books, every project is custom-created specifically for each client. Because of the personalized nature of our services and products, the following policy applies.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required before creative work begins.
Once creative work has commenced, the deposit becomes non-refundable as compensation for work performed and resources committed to your project.
Cancellations
You may cancel your project before production begins by notifying us in writing.
If creative work has already commenced, you are responsible for payment for all work performed through the date of cancellation.
Production
Production does not begin until:

Final proof approval has been received; and
-
Final payment has been made.
Once production has begun, orders cannot be canceled and no refunds will be issued.
Custom Products
Because all books are custom manufactured specifically for each client, completed orders are not eligible for return or exchange except where required by law.
If your order arrives with shipping damage or a shortage, please refer to our Shipping Policy for instructions on reporting the issue.
