Shipping Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

Playfield Books coordinates the production and delivery of custom-manufactured board books. Because every order is made specifically for each client, the following shipping policy applies.

Production Timeline

Production begins only after:

Final proof approval has been received; and
Final payment has been received.

Production and shipping timelines provided by Playfield Books are estimates only and may vary depending on manufacturing schedules, shipping carriers, customs processing, and other factors beyond our control.

Shipping

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the Client. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is accurate prior to production and shipment.

Shipping Damage or Shortages

We include a reasonable production overrun with each order to help account for minor shipping damage or shortages that may occur during transit.

If your shipment arrives with damage or a shortage exceeding the included overrun, you must notify Playfield Books in writing within 7 days of delivery and provide reasonable documentation, including photographs where applicable.

After reviewing the claim, Playfield Books will determine an appropriate remedy, which may include:

Replacement of affected units;
A refund or credit for affected units; or
Another commercially reasonable solution.

Manufacturing Variations

Minor variations in color, trimming, materials, or overall appearance are normal characteristics of commercial printing and manufacturing and are not considered defects.

Delays Beyond Our Control

Playfield Books is not responsible for delays caused by events outside of our reasonable control, including manufacturing delays, customs processing, transportation interruptions, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events.
